Master Mercury's Universal Head Case

Joshua S. Levin, April 2008
Mixed Media Sculpture (painting, construction, sculpting, and assemblage)

It may come as no surprise, but Master Murcury's Universal Head Case is both too big and too small to get into proper perspective. I find that it's best to just put the thing on and remember what it felt like before the myth fit.

Much is hidden at this scale, please dive a bit further into the microcosmic details here: [link]

Wow, it's some kind of neo-tranceformer cyber-alchemist shamanic ritual tool. I would love to see someone wear it or try it on myself (one size fits all?). Does it jingle? But seriously, have you considered its use as a ritual tool? It seems playful and powerful at the same time.

I suppose this is where the wolf says, "The better to delight you my dear."

Thanks!

Have no worries, I have an endless list of faults with it and its creator, but I'm pleased that you see its beauty.
